We've all heard of the infamous "wardrobe malfunction", but this is the even more perilous teleport malfunction.
Over the weekend I attempted to move my Forsaken warlock Ichijiro to another server so I could group up and play with friend
and give our Horde 'toons some love. Somehow during the process I fat-fingered the transfer and got a sequence of error messages. When I checked 'jiro's status it looked as if she had left her home realm and was... nowhere.
I could think of all sort of uncomfortable places she could be, especially since the realm transport is supposedly done by the "best" gnomish and goblin engineering.
Luckily WoW tech support was super fast and very nice and within the day 'jiro was at her destination more or less in one piece, but I do wonder about those hours where she was missing in action.
As always, anything World of Warcraft belongs to Blizzard, but the cartoon is out of my own fervid imagination.
