I had to give a try at inking Diinzumo's wonderful pencils of Sunset and Caz relaxing and Caz's bay horse Warpath coming up and breathing a warm Snort! on the back of his head.
Nothing like the horse version of a happy greeting... pass the towel and a clean shirt.
Inks over pencils with Tombo brushmarker, Sakura Microns, and then digital ziptone applied in Manga Studio. Color finishing done in Paintshop Pro. This means I always dither over picking "traditional" over "digital" media types.
Pencils by -- many thanks for letting me sling ink on your stuff!
Caz has been getting a bit more 'solid' as we go along. The angle at which he is sitting doesn't hurt, either. Maybe hauling on Warpath's reins helped develop his chest muscles?
I figured this was at the point where Caz hadn't yet stood up... he's still a bit wobbly.
That next bit of Pirates Sunset is slllooowwwwlly getting itself written out. *bangs head against block some more*
Thank'e VERY much for the random generators. A present from on high!
Haven't talked to mate about sending stuff. I'm on insomnia time, he's just in at a couple o' hours past midnight here. Real Life schedule shot to sh#t.
Thank'e. Will definitely. positively, absolutely hammer away more at the block that's stopping the progress.
It's so frustrating. I can SEE the scenes. I know/have all the ideas I want the characters to say/do/illustrate I just can't find the words or descriptions, or get the sentences to form to put onto paper.

I take it the pair are over their 'troubles' by this time?
Nice ink slinging, there. *thumbs up*
Cheers!
Yep, this is at the end of the "troubles," though Caz is still getting his "land legs" back.
We may have to do some more of these...
Thank you, it was a lot of fun to do!

*Picks up word wrench, slings over shoulder*
You *know* Sunset won't let you be blocked forever. She has her ways... *grin*
One of the Nanowrimo tricks is simply to write *something* every day. Even if you think it's awful. It works, honest.
